Help us show kids that they matter to God. To work in our Family Ministry areas, you don’t have to be a Bible scholar, pass a theological aptitude test, or display a particular set of special spiritual gifts. You don’t even need to be that cool! Here’s what you DO NEED:

Point Kids is completely fueled by volunteers and with recent growth we have many volunteer needs! We would love to talk with you about joining our team. Here’s a description of opportunities:
SUNDAY OPPORTUNITIES
Check-in Team – (For those who want to ease in) This team makes great first impressions as they welcome families through the check-in process. Smiling faces and basic computer skills are needed. They serve one service hour, once a month.
Nursery – (For those who aren’t afraid to get on their knees and play!) Our nursery ministry is for children birth-36 months. You will enjoy caring for infants and toddlers in EMBRACE PLACE, a safe and secure nursery environment. We have three rooms available to us so that we can provide individualized, developmentally accurate care. It’s our hope to EMBRACE children with God’s love from their earliest days! Nursery Team Members serve for a month, rotating every other month.
Preschool – (For those who are ready to dance and be asked silly questions!) We believe a child’s first impression of God’s love for them matters! Our preschool ministry is for children ages 3-5. Preschoolers literally run to WONDERTOWN to play and explore. We jump, sing, dance, and laugh as we worship! Bible teaching is creative and interactive! And age-based small groups provide continued learning through games and activities. Team Members will have the opportunity to lead from up front if they’d like, or focus solely on being a great small group leader. We want all preschoolers to be captivated by the awe and WONDER of God and His love for them. Preschool Team Members serve each Sunday for a month rotating every other month.
Elementary – (For those who are ready to play hard and laugh even harder!) We believe learning about God and His word should be fun, especially for our kids! Our elementary ministry is for children Kindergarten through 5th grade. Kids expect THE DISCOVER FACTORY to have upbeat worship, exciting media-based Bible teaching, and fun small group activities. Team Members serve as small group leaders, caring for and mentoring kids in their faith journey. We want elementary kids to DISCOVER who God is and how He can be trusted in their daily lives. So that our Elementary kids have consistent leaders for the greatest impact, our Elementary Team serves each Sunday morning for the whole year (don’t worry, you can still take your vaca!).
Unlimited – (For those who have a little extra patience, and like big hugs!) We believe all children are created in God’s image, and we desire to point them to Jesus! Unlimited is a growing ministry for children who have special needs. We offer a sensory room setting that is tailored to meet a variety of needs. We need Team Members who are especially passionate about loving each child for his/her unique qualities. Unlimited Team Members serve each Sunday for a month rotating every other month.
Student Helper – (For those who are ready to give back!) Kids and teens 3rd grade and up are eligible to serve as student helpers in check-in, nursery, and preschool on a rotation basis. Consider serving as a family in one of these areas!
