If you have children that are preschool through 5th grade, Point Kids children’s ministry at The Point invites your whole family to come to their free Summer Jam event this Friday, July 29, 5-8pm. Summer Jam will highlight the summer theme from the Point Kids Sunday morning programming, which has been “Make Waves”. Through this theme, and at Summer Jam, kids will learn the importance of Biblical characteristics like love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control.
The evening will have dinner provided, inflatables, games, and contests. The highlight of the evening will be “Chalkguy” Ben Glenn. Ben is an award-winning artist, speaker and author out of Indianapolis, Indiana. He has been a full-time speaker for 25 years, traveling all over the United States and around the globe. His story of growing up as a learning-disabled student with ADHD, as well as his amazing live art demonstration has inspired thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds and earned him the moniker, “The Chalkguy”. He is the author of “Simply Special: Learning to Love Your ADHD” and the founder of the Chalkguy LEGO drive.
Guardian Bikes, a children’s bicycle company who has recently moved their production to Seymour, has generously donated 8 of their 20-inch Ethos bikes to be used for a drawing at Summer Jam. To be eligible for the drawing you can pre-register below OR register that evening when you arrive. Any families wishing to check-in 1-3yr old toddlers for childcare must pre-register so Point Kids nursery can be properly staffed.
